Dr. Gersin received his B.A. degree from Boston University and his M.D. degree from Georgetown University. He completed his Surgical Residency at Berkshire Medical Center in Pittsfield, Massachusetts, and advanced training in minimally invasive surgery at the Cleveland Clinic. Dr. Gersin is Assistant Professor of Surgery, Director of Surgical Endoscopy & Laparoscopy, as well as Director of the fellowship program in laparoscopic surgery at the University of Cincinnati. Dr. Gersin is a member of numerous medical societies including the American Society for Gastrointestinal Endoscopy and the Society of American Gastrointestinal Endoscopic Surgeons. Dr. Gersin has also led the development of advanced laparoscopic surgery for chief residents and fellows. Dr. Gersin is Board Certified by the American Board of Surgery.
