Education/Specialty Training She received her medical degree from Medical College of Ohio, Toledo. Her postgraduate training includes a family practice residency at Flower Family Physicians Association, Sylvania, Ohio, followed by a primary care sports medicine fellowship at the Henry Ford Health System, Detroit.
Professional Highlights Dr. McCamey was chief resident during her family practice residency and also served on several committees at Flower Hospital, including Pharmacy and Therapeutics and the Institutional Review Board.
She brings a varied background in sports medicine experience. She has been the team physician for several organizations including: Wayne State University, University of Detroit, Bloomfield Hills Cranbook-Kingswood High School, and Dearborn Crestwood High School. In addition, she was team physician for Team USA at the Skate Canada 2004 International Synchronized Skating Competition, she volunteered at the 2004 Michigan Winter Special Olympics, and she was a physician for the Detroit Tigers 2004 spring training. She will be an Associate Team Physician for The Ohio State University athletic department.
She is board certified in family practice and a member of the American Academy of Family Physicians and American Medical Society for Sports Medicine.
