Prior to coming to the University of Cincinnati, Dr. deHoop graduated from the Medical College of Wisconsin in Milwaukee with his medical degree in 1990 and continued as an intern in obstetrics and gynecology there. Since arriving at the University of Cincinnati, Dr. deHoop has received many awards, such as "Best Doctors in America" and "Best Doctors in Cincinnati" in 2006 and 2008, as well as several teaching awards from the university. Dr. deHoop is currently an Associate Professor of Clinical Obstetrics and Gynecology, the Director of Medical Student Education, and the Clarence R. McLain Chair of Medical Student Education at the University of Cincinnati. He practices general obstetrics and gynecology, with an added interest in female athletes.
