Dr. Bonza is an Ohio State University family physician who focuses on women’s health issues. She completed her medical school and residency training at The Ohio State University. She has completed residency training in minority health. As a resident, she managed over 100 pregnant patients and completed research on weight gain during pregnancy. She also received the American Academy of Family Physicians Bristol Myers Squibb Award for Excellence in Graduate Medical Education for her accomplishments as a family medicine resident. Dr. Bonza’s current clinical and research interests include the aging female and cancer prevention. She completed a Master’s of Public Health at the Ohio State University with a major in epidemiology. She spends time volunteering for Komen Columbus and is focusing her latest research efforts on cancer prevention in high-risk women. She sees patients at The Ohio State University Hospitals East Family Medicine where she practices as an assistant clinical professor.
