As a Program Specialist, Julie supports and initiates research and outreach projects. Her research interests include the promotion of healthy eating through theory-based behavior change strategies. She completed her PhD in Health Behavior from Indiana University (2008), where she taught six courses and was employed as a research associate and nutrition counselor. Her dedication to her profession led to numerous awards including the American Dietetic Association Registered Young Dietitian of the Year. Julie holds a BS in Human Nutrition and a BS in Exercise Science (both from The Ohio State University, 2000) and an MS in Public Health Nutrition (Case Western Reserve University, 2002).
