Lori Crosby, PsyD is an Associate Professor in the Division of Behavioral Medicine and Clinical Psychology at CCHMC and Co-Director of Innovations in Community Research and Program Evaluation. She is faculty for the Community Engagement Core of the Cincinnati Center for Clinical and Translational Science and Training, Clinical Translational Science Award Project. Dr. Crosby has expertise in quality improvement and has been involved in a number of initiatives within the medical center. She has also been involved in a number of community-based research projects including using community-based participatory research methods in pediatric sickle cell disease and anxiety in African-American women. Dr. Crosby's broad research interests are in innovation in chronic care management, health disparities, quality improvement and community engaged research. Currently, Dr. Crosby serves as the leader of Community Engagement Core Training Initiatives. In this role, she directs the Community Leaders Institute and Community Engagement Core Speaker Series. In addition, she assists with coordinating academic-community training partnerships. She also mentors CCTST students at the high school, undergraduate, and graduate-levels in community engaged research methods and skills.
