Question: i have been diagnosed with hemochromatosis and have severe joint pain,pain in my back from my liver and pancrease..but what kind of pain meds will they write to help me..

Answer: An assessment by a physician is needed prior to determining which medications would be helpful in your case. However, primary treatment of the condition such as with phlebotomy may be the best treatment since treatment of chronic pain with oral medications has not been outstandingly successful.
