Foot drop09/29/1999 |
What is foot drop? Does it ever go away? Thanks,
Foot drop results from weakness of the peroneal muscles which dorsiflex the foot. This may be due to injury/damage to the muscle or the nerve that innervates it. It may be transient or permanent depending on the cause.
