Is there a difference between Parkinson`s and essential tremor?
Parkinson`s disease and essential tremor are two distinct conditions. The key difference is that sooner or later patients with PD will have additional features such as slowness of movement, muscle stiffness and postural instability. Some patients with PD will have no tremor at all. This contrasts with essential tremor in which tremor is the only symptom.
