Nonbrushing Seniors04/11/2000 |
Are there any alternatives for an elderly person who will no longer brush.
Family members or other care givers will have to take responsibilty to provide proper oral hygiene. In this situation for an uncooperative patient, a sedative prescribed by her physician one hour before brushing can be very helpful.
