treatment for genital warts
Genital warts can be treated in many ways including applications of chemicals like podophyllin or medications like Aldara. They can be frozen or burned off with an electric needle or a laser. The number, size and location of the warts determines the type of treatment. You will need to consult your dermatologist about the best treatment for you.Note that warts have other significance. Penile warts can be transmitted to a woman. There is great concern that vaginal warts can be associated with abnormalities of the uterine cervix. So the man should inform his spouse to see her gynecologist about her having warts. Or the woman should tell her doctor so that her cervix can be properly evaluated and treatments instituted if indicated.
