Swollen lymph nodes

08/01/2000

Question:

can lupus cause swollen lymph nodes in any part of the body

Answer:

Yes, people with lupus can have swollen lymph nodes. If this is a new development I suggest a careful evaluation by an internist/rheumatologist, since various infections and other problems can also cause swollen lymph nodes.
