Question:

I had heard several years back of a vitamin and mineral supplement called Rejuvex for menopausal symptoms - my hairdresser swore it helped!:) She also mentioned it was somewhat expensive. Do you have any information on this product?

Answer:

Rejuvex is the brand name of a product that contains dong quai (also called angelica sinensis), as well as other minerals. Some women think that dong quai is very beneficial in the relief of hot flashes and other menopausal symptoms, but dong quai should NOT be taken by women who have uterine fibroids or heavy bleeding, because it can increase the bleeding. You can order Rejuvex from many commercial websites.
