PD and medication for BP10/22/2000 |
Why can`t you take a blood pressure medication like Covera when you have Parkinson`s Disease?
Some blood pressure medications belonging to the class called calcium channel blockers (e.g. cinnarazine and flunarazine)can worsen symptoms of PD. In my experience Covera (verapamil) is fairly well tolerated by patients with PD though it is a calcium channel blocker.
