PSP meds12/05/2000 |
My father has been diagnosed with PSP. He is on various medications (ibuprofen, carbidopa, prevacid, terazosin, lanoxin, amantadine, metoprolol and a stool softener). Recently he has been confused or disoriented, is this from the meds or the disease?
The disease itself as well as medications can cause the confusion. Lowering the dose of amantidine in particular may be helpful.
