Pop effect on teath01/30/2001 |
How does pop effect teath. Specifically erythorbic acid`s effect.
Regular pop can lead to dental decay. The bacteria in the mouth use the sugar to break down to lactic acid. "Diet" pop will not lead to decay because the bacteria cannot breakdown the artificial sweeteners. Thus we think of it as being safe. Erythorbia acid is not a term I have read associated with dental disease.
