Is parkinsons Disease inherited/congenitol
There are some families that follow a specific inheritance pattern and in whom specific genetic defects have been isolated. These include the alpha-synuclein and parkin genes. However, the majority of parkinson`s disease appears to be sporadic in nature. It is quite possible that there may be a complex interaction between genetic deficits and environmental exposures.
