Ring Finger Bump

07/20/2001

Question:

I currently have a small bump under the skin on the tip of my ring finger. It is tender on certain occasions. However, it is not connected to the skin, but more closely to the bone. It feels like a small BB under the skin on the tip of my finger. Could this be some sort of calcium deposit?

Answer:

It sounds like you`re asking for a specific diagnosis, which is more than I can provide online. Only a detailed history and physical exam by a healthcare professional can provide enough information to make a specific diagnosis. Please discuss your concerns with your healthcare provider.
