Hep B&C Vaccinations09/10/2001 |
I got 2 out of 3 vaccine shots for Hep B&C (in 1995). Never took the last one. What may be the result? Can I take the last one now? I show positive for Hep B and C as a carrier, but also have the antibodies in my stream (per lab results).
There is no vaccine for hepatitis c, so I cannot comment on that or your last comment in your note about your antibody status. I can answer your other question about getting the last shot in a series for hepatitis b. If you got the first 2, the last one can be given even if there has been a delay between the time of the second shot and the last one. Based on time alone, you should not need to start the series over, but just finish the last shot.
