Lyme & Pseudotumor cerebri09/19/2001 |
Can pseudotumor cerbri attributed to lyme disease occur with both negative serum (ELISA & Western Blot) & CSF serologies, & also no CSF pleocytosis or elevated protein?
I have not examined the patient in question, but I think it extremely unlikely. I would look for other causes. For up-to-date guidelines on the treatment of Lyme disease, go to the link below.
