Hepatitis B vaccine duration11/26/2001 |
How long does the hepatitis B vaccine last? I had all three shots 11 years ago.
It usually lasts at least 10 years. After then, if you are at risk for hepatitis B, you can get a blood test to check the level of antibody. If this level is low you can get a booster dose of the vaccine.
