Genital herpes vs scabies03/26/2002 |
My friend was perscribed Eurax cream to be applied to her vagina.I know this drug is usually perscribed for scabies.Can this drug be perscribed for genital herpes.What my friend describes to me about her symptoms sounds like genital herpes,not scabies.
Eurax is used to treat scabies and not genital herpes. It will have no effect on herpes simplex virus type 2 or type 1. Scabies of the vagina is unusual but not impossible.
