Spina Bifida

what is spina Bifida

Spina bifida is a deformity of the spine. When spina bifida occurs there is incomplete or no closure of the spine, specifically the vertebrate. The exact effect of the spina bifida depends on where the opening is, and the extent of the opening. Some defects are mild, while others are quite severe. If you have a child who is diagnosed with spina bifida, you need to consult their health care provider, because they are the only person who can speak to the individual issues of your child.
