Biofeedback as A Cure for ADD04/12/2002 |
A local psychologist is claiming amazing results with biofeedback. He says he can diagnose ADD with a quantitative eeg and that he can essentially cure kids with 30 1-hour sessions with biofeedback. He says he can train them to change their brain-wave patterns and that the change is permanent. Is this proven, possible but not proven, or not very likely>
Your second choice is the answer---`Possible but not likely`. If still interested, I encourage you to ask him for study data and then, if it is unclear to you why it does or does not make sense, ask your physician.
