Bronchitis04/25/2002 |
(In reference to a question sent 3/25/02 entitled: Bronchitis)This was my question, and although only a small spot of green is in what I cough up, my tubes are still in spasm, causing me to cough a lot. Unfortunately, I tore the muscles to my ribs, and coughing causes intense pain. I never smoked, and am in good health otherwise. Is there anything I can do to help my bronchial tubes heal? Thank you.
Persistent cough after a bout of bronchitis is not uncommon, and it may take weeks for it to subside. There is nothing you can do to make your bronchi heal any faster.
