Smoking and Tobacco
Burning and tingling feeling in my chest
I recently quit smoking. It`s been a little over 7 days now. My main reason for quitting was the shortness of breath which has improved since I quit. It seems like ever since I quit, I have this ache in my chest. It`s kind of a sharp tingling and burning feeling at the same time. It hasn`t gone away yet, but hasn`t seem to have gotten worse either. Everything else is pretty normal as this is the only symptom I`m having. Should I be concerned with this or is it part of the lungs healing after quitting?
It sounds like you`re asking for a specific diagnosis, which is more than I can provide online. Only a detailed history and physical exam by a healthcare professional can provide enough information to make a specific diagnosis. Please discuss your concerns with your healthcare provider.
