Flesh eating disease

I am having troubles finding information on the disease called flesh eating disease. Could you help me find any facts on this baterial disease?

This disease is caused by group A streptococcus which is a bacteria. This infection can sometimes cause life-threatening illnesses- known as necrotizing fascitis and Streptococcal Toxic Shock Syndrome. Necrotizing fascitis (occasionally described by the media as "the flesh eating bacteria") destroys muscles, fat and skin tissue. You can find more information at www.cdc.gov/ncidod/dbmd/diseaseinfo/groupastreptococcal.
