Herpetic Meningitis

Can you please tell me the symptoms of herpetic meningitis? Can the symptoms disappear and reappear throughout the course of the infection?

The usual symptoms are fever, headaches, nausea, vomiting. They are typically associated with the first episode of genital herpes.
