Erectile Dysfunction (ED)
Lack of Ejaculation with an Erection
Dear Sir My fiancee` and I have postponed having sex until we are married, however we do on occasion have oral sex. While I am performing oral sex on him he has an erection but no ejaculation on several attempts. His medical history includes a herniated lumbar disk and he has also been on antidepressants which he has quit taking about a week or so ago. I would like to know if this may be a temporary situation or if this may really be a problem.
In general, the antidepressants are notorious for inhibiting ejaculation. If your fiance comes off the antidepressants and cannot ejaculate then there may be either a physical problem or a psychologic problem. If the ejaculation problem has been lifelong, then there may be a physical problem. If he can ejaculate with masturbation, with fantasy or the like, then it is probably psychological. The role of the disc is not clear.
