HOW LONG DOES NICOTINE REMAIN IN THE BODY AND/OR BE DETECTED IN A DRUG SCREEN.
Nicotine is rapidly metabolized in the body; half of the body`s nicotine is metabolized in 30 minutes, so it`s undetectable within a few hours. However, a metabolite of nicotine called cotinine has much slower metabolism and can be detected for several days after smoking.
