Treating and Preventing Cold Sores
How do you cure cold sores without being treated by a doctor?
The bottom line is to keep your immune system healthy. Lots of rest and exercise, eating plenty of fruits and vegetables, and cutting out animal fats and "trans" fats, which are found in margarines, packaged foods, pastries, etc. Also, a dab of tea tree oil on the cold sore may help it go away faster.
