Cancer Treatment In Cincinnati

03/31/2003

Question:

My wife has Non- Hodgkin’s Lymphoma in remission. She is and has been treated at Dana Farber in Boston. We are contemplating a move to our daughters home in Florence, Kentucky. Are there facilities and doctors available University Of Cincinnati treat her on a recurring basis if required.

Answer:

Most likely your doctors at Dana-Farber will be able to provide you with information about doctors at University of Cincinnati who will be able to follow your wife. This would be the best way to get accurate information and possible referrals. Alternatively, you can try to find the University of Cincinnati Medical Center on the Web, and find an oncologist with the appropriate experience and training. Most large medical centers have experience managing patients with NHL who are in remission.
