Could Lack of Sunlight Cause Depression?

Is there a condition where a person may suffer depression or lack of energy because of not enough exposure to sunlight? What is it called and what are the treatments available?

This is called Seasonal Affective Disorder or "SAD". It is treated by moving out of Cleveland!! Alternately, antidepressants or artificial "sunlight lamps" or the combination of both may help. As always, good nutrition, multivitamins, plenty of rest and increasing your exercise will also be very helpful.
