Defining the Words in SARS
Are the words "severe" and "acute" redundant, or is there a real difference? If so, what is the difference in context of the disease?
This is really an english definition question best looked up in a dictionary. Oddly enough while reading your query, I am also scanning the New York Times where there is an excellent answer to your exact question by William Safire in The Sunday Magazine for May 4, 2003 page 20.
