How much blood

06/05/2003

Question:

How many pints of blood does an average person have.

Answer:

For a person weighing approximately 150 pounds, the blood volume is on average about 5 liters or 8.8 pints.  If the person is larger or smaller, the blood volume would change accordingly. One liter of volume equals 1.76 pints. I hope this addresses your question.
