Lupus |
DsDNA test07/28/2003 |
Are there other conditions besides lupus that could cause a strongly positive dsDNA along with a positive ANA? Is it possible that the dsDNA test could be positive like some normal people have a positive ANA or could it be caused by a short term infection in a normal healthy person?
If the test is done correctly, a strongly positive dsDNA indicates lupus. Unlike the ANA, a positive dsDNA is not found in otherwise healthy individuals
