Numbness in feet12/02/2003 |
Often when I work out on the stair master, after about 20 minutes, my feet go numb or fall asleep. I really can`t tell what`s going on but it`s very uncomfortable. What`s going on?
Numb feet can have a variety of causes. The most obvious cause may be the fact that using a stair climber causes you to remain on your toes, which can decrease the blood flow to your toes causing them to feel numb. You could try using the stair climber while keeping your feet flat to see if this eliminates the numbness. The numbness could also be caused by improper fitted shoes or shoe laces that are pulled too tight. If none of the above suggestions seem to improve the numbness in your feet, I would suggest consulting with your personal physician.
