Question:

can a medication for high blood pressure cause you to gain weight?

Answer:

Some medications like beta blockers have been associated with weight gain. Weight gain can occur with changes in medication dose. Call your doctor if you gain two or more pounds in one day or if you continue to gain weight for more than two days.
