about 3 weeks ago i stepped on a toothpick 2 days later i went to the ER. he cut it open a little he said he didnt see it but i think it is stuck in the meat under my big toe, i took antibotics and inflamatory`s for a week. but it is still making puss he said he couldnt cut any deeper for the nerves and stuff. what is the problem..
If pus is still coming out after one week of antibiotics, I would suggest that you see a physician again. Your doctor may need to cut a bit more to remove the infected tissue and look for remnants of the toothpick
