What are the side effects of Lamictal?

Answer:

Regarding the side-effects for Lamictal (an anticonvulsant used to stabilize mood), most side effects are minor (e.g., sleepiness, dizziness, upset stomach) and go away after a short time. However, contact your prescribing physician immediately if you:

  • develop a rash
  • have urine that looks different
  • feel more clumsy
  • have back aches
  • feel your hands or feet are tingling or numb
  • can`t pay attention
  • or have blurry vision
