How to Ensure if a Person has Prostate Cancer?02/14/2004 |
A doctor has told my husband may have prostate cancer. What are the symptoms? The VA don`t just come out and tell you these things, but they just keep giving you meds. We don`t have insurance and how would we know for sure? Also, are there any cures for neuropathy in the stomach?
Oftentimes there are no symptoms of prostate cancer, and the first sign is an elevated blood test - PSA. There may be a hard area on the prostate that can be felt by rectal examination. If prostate cancer is suspected, he should have a biopsy. Do not know about neuropathy of the stomach and cures - sorry.
