Could I have lupus
I am 44 yr old female and having some generalized problems. I have red skin over my cheeks and nose, I have stiff fingers, neck, and etc. I have had problems with my heart, lungs and most recently with a inflamation problem with my head(occipital nerve) when I was in the hospital I had some abnormal lab work (elevated sed rate, anemia, abnormal mri and ct head scans. I am seeing my neruologist this week. what do I need to ask him when I go in? Should I be tested further for Lupus?
Yes, these symptoms warrant investigations for systemic immunological diseases such as lupus and vasculitis.
