Smoking one cigarette a day05/28/2004 |
I ONLY SMOKE ONE CIGARETTE A DAY. HOW HARMFUL IS THIS????
It is very unusual for a daily smoker to remain at only one cigarette per day. A concern with any low level of smoking is that it will increase over time. Therefore, to avoid gradually increasing to more cigarettes per day and increased exposure to the contents of cigarette smoke - it would be very useful to eliminate that one cigarette per day. With any cigarette, a person is exposed to carbon monoxide, tar, and cancer-promoting products in tobacco. Thoughtful self-analysis regarding the purpose of smoking one cigarette every day would be helpful.
