Chiped tooth06/16/2004 |
my 3 year old chiped her front tooth its not noticeable and she dosent act like it hurts should i see a doctor i know she wont have these teeth very long
She will actually have these teeth approximately 3 more years. It is common for kids to chip their front teeth. If she bumped it hard, it could have done damage to the nerve of the tooth. Look for darkening of the tooth and/or a bump or pimple along the gum, above the tooth that is chipped. Most likely she won`t feel any pain. To be safe, you can always have your dentist check the area. They would more than likely take an xray to check for any fracture or infection.
