What body systems are effected by alzheimer`s disease?
Alzheimer's disease affects the brain, leading to changes in memory, thinking, personality, and mood. As the disease progresses, other functions of the body that the brain controls, including movement, walking, bladder and bowel functions, and swallowing are affected as well.
