Question:

I 30 years old. My height is 5`-10" & wt. is 86kgs. I am living in India. I am taking 9-10 pegs of rum or whiskey per week. I am not suffering by any major illness till now. Is it safe for me ? Can you tell me the safe level of alcohol consumption ?

Answer:

Hello, I am not familiar with a peg. How many ounces is that? The recommended safe maximum for men is 2 drinks i.e., 2 cans of beer or 2 glasses of wine or 2 shots of liquor. For women, it is 1/2 that for men.
