Genital herpes and children04/22/2005 |
I have genital herpes and was wondering if it can be spread by bathing or swimming with my child? are there any other ways i should be aware of that put my child at risk of getting it from me?
This link to the CDC has information you should find useful. http://www.cdc.gov/std/Herpes/STDFact-Herpes.htm In general, genital herpes is spread by direct sexual contact only, so your child should be fine.
