Yeast infections in children05/05/2005 |
My daughter is 8 years old, she had a sinus infection about a week ago and was put on antibiotics. I niticed she was itiching her private part 3 days after she began to take the antibiotic. When I asked her if she had a rash she said no.Two days later she complained being very itchy, when I checked her I noticed white cheesy discharge, can this be a yeast infection from taking antibiotics?
Antibiotics can cause yeast infections and can present in this manner.
