I am a 56 year old female. Recently had a very basic bone density screen done and my T-Score was -2.1 and estimated BMD is 0.344 g/cm2. I have to have a dexascan done and I don`t have health insurance. Can you tell me if this is an expensive test?
The cost of a DXA scan can vary considerably depending on where in the country you live. It is worth calling several centers to see where you can find the best price.
