STD Testing after 6 months08/22/2005 |
I last had unprotected sex over 6 months ago. Sinec that time I have yet to get tested but I have not noticed any symptoms. Am I in the clear at this point or is it still possible that I have not yet noticed a symptom at this point.
You should be tested for HIV and syphilis for sure. Both of these infections can occur without symptoms. If you are a male with absolutely no symptoms, Gonorrhea, Chlamydia, and Herpes are unlikely but not completely excluded. If you are a female, one or more of these can be present without symptoms. Hepatitis B and C are also transmitted during unprotected sex. I hope you understand the risks of unprotected sex and take better precautions next time.
